No that is not the reason he just did not really fit in with the show and that boy who done Buffy work and just used her. He was just too off for the show and Buffys type even though she was looking for normal which she cannot have, lol. He just seem ed like someone she would date a few times than end it, I never saw the connection but he was not all bad just not right for the role he got and that is why Buffy goes to Spike instead of him. I hate the boy who had sex with Buffy than left her.

Riley was a great character for Buff...What are you talking about! He was her first real realationship with a human that wasn't Dead or Selfish, Riley was her In to the Military Madhouse, He Truely loved her and What A Hunk!

riley is the lamest character on that show besides glorys minions, how could u even think that he was perfect for buffy?!?!? and he is not a hunk, unless your talking about a whole hunk of ugly and ignorance. I. HATE. RILEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
