Who should buffy be with?

The series is over, but who should Buffy settle down with? I really think it should be riley because he was safe, simple and not a vampire. Angel couldn't make up his mind and spike was just messed up. What do you guys think? thanks 0 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Riley is married (did you forget and also to strung out on the fact that Buffy is stronger than he is). Angel is confused about wanting Buffy than not wanting Buffy and he only got made when Buffy was with Spike evn though he had his own love intersts. Spike had his stuff right at the end and had went through hell to get a soul for Buffy. Go Buffy and Spike. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think she should go wit Angel tht man is GORGEOUS but other than tht hes HER soulmate they belong together like pb&j thts love honey!

You would be with a man that left you then gets upset if you have found someone else. Angel is good-looking but looks are not everything. How dare he show up on the last ep. and tell her they she be together. Spike all the way, he proved his love and lets not forget if Cordy had not left, his show, he would have be with her. In the beginning Angel all the way but in the middle and end Spike. Angel was doing his own thing while Spike was with Buffy.

Okayy u got a point but there both (Angel & Buffy) still love each other yes he did leave her yes he can be a A=hole but still there in love with each other if someone loved me like tht i would be with him because he understood her and im 13 i dont have a man but im really smart about stuff and this im rite about! So yahhh

I agree with all the Spike-sayers. Although he seems like the type of guy I'd be drawn to and then get annoyed with, I think he's the right choice. Reason being, he loved her with or without a soul. He's like the reformed badboy (although I wouldn't trust those). Buffy also had many instances when she could have staked him throughout the series, but let him get away, knowing that he's highly dangerous.You can tell, starting the third season that he's really as much jealous of what Angel has as he is "mad and blaming him for Druscilla." Spike seems to appreciate a woman that can kick his ass and it's probably the first time in his long life that he actually met one that wasn't a complete psycho that does the loving him one minute, then leave the next for a chaos demon. Angel has that curse and we do not know if the prophcey is true that he will be a real man. No true moment of happiness would suck in a relationship. I still like the sandwich idea.

The options: Angel, Spike, Riley, Xand and... Giles? (Shipper!)SPOILER ALERT Riley - he's out because he clearly loves his wife and they are a good match. And I love the last exchange between him and Buffy: I wouldn't want anything else to happen between them because that farewell was just so good! Spike - I think he's just as confused as Angel is, except Spike's a huge jerk. lol. Angel - This story is just so filled with heartbreak, yearning and not having... And as far as Angel being confused - by the end of the series, it's clear that there's no confusion: he wants her, and she wants him, but just not now. At their last exchange during "Buffy", the Potentials hadn't yet all become Slayers, so she still had that sense of impossibility that she could be with anyone. Now that Buffy isn't THE slayer anymore, I think they could work out. Giles - Sorry, bro. You're just too old. Plus, I loved you with with Miss Calendar waaaaaaaay too much for you to get involved with anyone else ever. Xander - with Anya's passing at the end of the series, Xand is on the market again. Over the years, Buffy has developed such great trust in Xand and I think that it could be just a matter of time before the two realize what they could have together as a couple. He's got such great heart, will and loyalty. He also dealt with the Buffy-induced inferiority complex for a long time and I think that he's matured to the point where he recognizes that her being stronger than him is nothing to be ashamed of. Not to mention, the main reason Buffy can't be with regular guys is that they can't know the Slayer Secret and she doesn't want them to get hurt. But indeed, Xand is in on the secret and time and time again, Buffy has relied on him for help. So, I guess my vote is Xand. I can't believe I just said that. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. You pick Xander. Really. Everyone knows about slayers, you know the comics. I guess I will always want her and Spike. I liked there connection. I do not think he was a jerk, he was just being a vampire/man. Angel was cool but in his series if Cordy had not left he would of been with her and Buffy and Gilesis just too gross to even think about. As i stated before Riley and his wife will be together but he will always have a place for Buffy.

Aw! Actually I haven't read the comics yet! Don't wreck it for me! And I haven't watched Angel yet, either. AW! But I did know that Cordy and Angel had some kind of thing there. And I love Cordy! She's so hilarious.But yeah, like I said, I can't believe I just said that. In truth, I WANT it to be Angel and Buffy, but logically for me it seems like Xand and Buffy make a lot of sense together. Do you find this valuable? |

I guess sometimes it depends on the seasson for me and since i just finished watching season seven again, I am going with Spike all the way. You have to watch Angel, the show was really good and the comics are great too.

Ya'll are so good at this relationships stuff i can't even get Logan to look at me lol but im starting to like the idea of spike and buffy i just watched a episode on hulu and her and him look and have a lot of chemistry ya know. plus im a southern girl so im all for good british accents i had a boyfriend named George he moved from England but he just mooved back.........GOD im sooooo personalll! :D

How is this even a discussion? Angel never asked for a Soul, and without a soul he was one of the badest evil/serial killer. Spike on the other hand asked and to get himself a soul. Even without a soul he was never as bad as Angel/Angelus. Also Spike was there for Buffy for the 2 biggest and most important time of her life. The death of her mother and Buffy's ressurection. Sure Angel and Buffy are like soulmates but can they ever make love? With Spike she wouldn't have to worry. She can also depend on him to stick around when the going gets tough and not run away like a little boy. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I actually watch all seasons on a regular basis. I helped me during my depression and now has just become a habit. Truthfully this is a very tuff choice. Angel and her seem so destined, yet he had his sould forced on him. And Spike, who had no real concience continued to be her champion even before he had a soul. He got a soul for her. And the fact that as in "Angel" he teases that Spike was crazy in a basement for a couple of weeks is also a good sign that Spike was more deserving since he did not have to spend 100 years in torment. Plus Spike was never about the torcher like Angelus was. ANd finally Angel totes fell in love with Cordelia. Buffy only moved on because she was forced to. Angel made it seem like he couldn't be in love, and yet Cordy. Anywho, Spike worshiped Buffy. I think if Angel hadn't left it would have been diff but he did=so spike was the true soul mate, Total side note and the reason I was searching for someone to talk about Buffy with-why the heck does Angelus wear guy liner in season 2? Not that anyone is going to repy, just sayin.

I've been married to a reformed bad boy for 8 years now and have the cutest son with him. He is the best father and husband. Not all bad boys but some are good boys underneath. And I think Spike is one of those guys1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I think Buffy should be with Angel even though he is a vampire I just love seeing them too together. I think Angel is so hot, so fine, him and Buffy are so perfect for each other and to me they belong together.
