I think she could be in the movie as Faith, as said above. No one can play Buffy Summers like Sarah Michelle Gellar....she just fits the part too well. But, Megan couldn't replace Eliza Dushku either. There shouldn't be any more Buffy seasons or movies unless the original cast is willing to participate. No Buffy without the original cast!

That's blasphemy. The only actress (besides Sarah Michelle Gellar) that I can even imagine playing Buffy is Ellen Page. But I'm not sure that would go over well given the potential stereotype from her role in Juno. But I do agree, I think Megan Fox could possibly make a good substitute for Eliza Dushku as Faith. And what is this ridiculous nonsense, anyway? (re: the link). They want to make a Buffy the Vampire Slayer film without involving Joss OR even tying it in to the canon? What is the point?! I hope no one ever gives the Buffy series a "Star Trek"-style reboot. Do you find this valuable? |

i would rather gouge my eyes out than see megan fox as Buffy! Faith, MAYBE, but though i hate Faith, i hate megan fox more. the only reason they ever put her in a movie is to get guys to go see it, i've never met a self-respecting woman who liked megan fox in the least.

Never never never in a millions years could Meagan pull of Buffy's quips and sarcasm and be believable. She cannot act to save her life all she has is good looks! I think it is a huge waste of time to make another BTVS movie with out Joss or the original cast! I won't go see it and I know true die hard BTVS fans (and there are a lot of us) won't either. Do you find this valuable? |

Some of the original cast may not want to do it, so I guess it would be okay if some new people came along who actually has talent. If minus Joss than I would not go see it, people would just try to cash in since the Twilight series is popular but Twilight has nothing on Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

The sad fact is... They are not planning to have Faith in the reboot. Nor will they have Xander, Willow, Dawn, or any other characters that we know and love."This will not be the highschool buffy you remember, but she will still be just as witty and sexy." "Whedon apparently indicated he had little or no interest in what is expected to be a reboot free of such beloved characters as Willow, Xander, Giles, Angel, Oz and Spike." They want to take Buffy and give it appeal to the "new generation". The 1992 movie came out the year I was born. I was raised on Buffy. The t.v. series started when I was 4. Oddly enough Buffy has been a part of my life, through all of my life. They can not do a remake without Joss. Although Joss was given the opportunity, he does not want to be involved. Even more so, we are going to enter into a whole new fan-base who won't know or understand Buffy as we all do. The Buffy that is going to be put on the big screen isn't going to resemble Buffy as we know her. THIS IS NOT SHINY! 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

The buffy series is so badass and very true to what actual vamps would be like. I love how in the season 8 comics Joss pokes fun at twilight hardcore. Oh and megan fox sucks. Massively. Either way, a Buffy reboot without Joss or even any of the original characters or cast for that matter, won't even remotely be the same. :( Do you find this valuable? |

Okay obviously someone has 2 b Buffy and we all agree that M.F would b the worst choice I kind of think the female actress from the movie I am number four that plays number six would be an okay choice if we couldn't have Sarah. Although no one could EVER replace Sarah she would probably be okay for the job :/
