Buffy Fan Documentary
Hi, i'm a film student, and as a side project i'm making a short internet documentary on Buffy Fans.
Basically I want you to answer a set of questions I have, and record a video of your response. Then if you have a youtube account post it as a response to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmaNuUl85O4 If you don't have a youtube account, you can make one, or email me and i'll tell you how else to submit a video. You can also check out a teaser trailer for the project here- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E13-VrFiwuI
I need way more responses than i've gotten thus far so please submit videos.Tell anyone you know who may be interested about the project. The more videos I get, the better the film will be.

Season 8.....if u don't know check this out
I'm sure many of you may know this already but I did not see a post for this. But there is in fact an 8th season of our beloved BTVS. (Kinda). The thing is Joss Whedon wanted to give the fans something to pick up where the show left off. Season 8 is in the form of comic books, BUT! Also in Motion Comic Videos. Which are really cool. Short at about 12 to 14 minutes each episode/issue. They pick up right where the show left off with Sunnydale a giant crater and all potential slayers activated. If u did not know about this or haven't seen the episodes let me know and I will tell you where you can find them. The best part is that they are written by and official Joss Whedon material. They are kinda like cartoons. I was really psyched to come across this and hope someone finds this helpful.

1. When I was young I love the show. I stopped watching it on TNT. I was ficking around perhaps last year and found it on LOGO. I became obsessed XD. Rediscovering Buffy was the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in the land of channel surfing. Mostly I was turned on b/c of Joss's idea for the show: The petite blonde chicks always die first in the horror flicks...Not this time!!
2. Well said spmazz..It is addictive. Every episode just leaves you wanting more and it is impossible to explain to a non-Buffy. 3. Absolutely. There are epic things about this show. Mostly I think Joss took a huge leap of faith by including a very intimate lesbian relationship in the show. 4. Well yea it has like a cult following. It is a culture. Look it up rlly something about the Buffy fandom being a culture I forget where it is..theres a video on it Hope this helped. If you want to PM me about the culture or if you need any help go right ahead!

The original Buffy movie
tbc
No Ford from 'Lie to Me' though. The only characters to cross from the movie to the series are Buffy, Joyce, Hank and Merrick (in flashback in Becoming pt2). Joyce's 'What time?' line to Buffy is also repeated there but in a very different context. Joyce remarks to Buffy in 'Fear Itself' that she's not the social butterfly she used to be and also in WTTH that she's read parenting books. I saw Luke Perry in 'When Harry Met Sally' with AH and he was very good (and certainly still a hit with the girls). A shame we never see Pike again in the series although he does return in the comics. I don't really think the romance between him and Buffy works, we sorely miss Angel/Spike. If you look at the video cover it has both him and Kristy, by the time it comes out on DVD it's just her. Buffy later describes her pre-Slayer personality as Cordelia-like and she is. Ironically Merrick quotes Corinthians about putting away childish things but it's by clinging to her non-slayer life that Buffy is the most successful Slayer ever. She does recall the memories of past Slayers just as Dana does in Damaged so this is presumably something shared by all Slayers Buffy says she aims to graduate, go to Europe, marry Christian Slater and die. By the end of Angel she's done 3 out of 4 (wouldn't it have been cool if they got the Immortal to be played by Christian Slater?) tbc
