Character & plot connections: Was a friend of Cordelia's before she was killed during the ascension and made into a vampire. She shows up in later seasons as Spike's girlfriend and becomes jealous about Spike's infatuation with the slayer.



Drusilla

Character & plot connections: Spike's partner. At the start of season 2 she appears frail and a little mad. She requires a ritual involving her sire Angel to return to full strengh. The ritual is successful but Spike is injured. In the finale Spike teams up with Buffy to stop Angel & Drusilla because he does not like how Drusilla acts around Angel. Spike knocks her out and drives her away from Sunnydale.



The Anointed One

Character & plot connections: Introduced in Season One as the means of luring Buffy into facing the Master in 'Prophecy Girl' , was exposed to the sun in Season 2 when Spike began to find him annoying and inconvenient.

Character & plot connections: Season 1: ants to free himself and he has access to a prophecy that predicts Buffy's death. Season 2: Is seen briefly in episode on when his minions try to bring him back. Season 3: In the episode 'The Wish' he is part of an alternate universe that would have eventuated if Buffy had never come to Sunnydale. This is due to a wish that Cordelia makes with Anya.
