| OZ bio
Oz is first introduced in the episode 'Incan Mummy Girl,' as the guitarrist for 'Dingoes ate My Baby.' He is shown from the very start to have an interest in Willow, but can’t seem to figure out who she really is. Until the episode ‘What’s my Line: Part 1 (2:08)’ Oz doesn’t know who Willow is, but keeps bumping into her.
They meet in a special talent search at their high school, and quickly seem to have a budding relationship at the time that Buffy/Angelus are fighting. In the episode 2:15, it is shown that Oz is a werewolf, but Willow doesn’t seem to mind it. Oz is shown to be attached to Willow throughout all of season 3.
In the middle of season 3, 3:08 ‘Lover’s Walk,’ Willow cheated on Oz with Xander, and the two of them had a short breakup, but got back together by the episode 3:10 ‘Amends.’
Oz is shown to be a quiet person who knows a lot, but doesn’t apply himself. He was a senior when Willow first met him, but was held back a grade because he didn’t do the exams.
Willow and Oz had a straightforward relationship, until season 4 when Oz was shown to have an eye for a female singer named Veruca, who is later shown to be a fellow werewolf. Oz attempts to convince Veruca that being a werewolf is a bad thing, but in order to do so he pulls her into the cage at the time they are transforming. Willow comes to find Oz and Veruca draped over each other naked, and freaks out.
Willow attempts to do a spell on Oz so that he can never love again, but chickens out. Veruca comes after Willow, but Oz gets there first and kills Veruca to protect Willow. He then tries to attack Willow, but Buffy stops him.
Oz leaves, saying that he will not return until he can learn to control the wolf inside of him. In the episode ‘New Moon Rising,’ (4:19), he does so. However, in the meantime Willow has developed a relationship with Tara. Oz has learned to stop the wolf inside of him, but it comes out whenever he gets angry.
When he discovers Tara’s relationship with Willow, he gets angry and is captured by the Initiative. He is saved by the gang, but tells Willow that she is the thing that makes him angry. Willow picks Tara over Oz, and the two of them leave each other on good terms.
Oz is last seen in the episode ‘Restless.’ (4:22) He is shown from the very start to have an interest in Willow, but can’t seem to figure out who she really is. | OZ-IZMS | - I mock you with my monkey pants
- I'm gonna ask you to go out with me
tomorrow night, and I'm kinda nervous about it actually. It's interesting. - Oh, no, practice. See, our band's kind
of moving towards this new sound where... we suck, so...practice. - Hey, did everybody see that guy turn to dust?
- Sometimes, when I'm sitting in class--you know,
I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen--I think about kissing you. And, it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like...freeze frame. Willow kissage. (pauses) Oh, I'm not gonna kiss you - This is just the kind of sense thats....Not.
