They broke up, but when he was posionsed, she forced him to drink her blood, the only cure. He left for LA, but came back when Doyle had a vision of her in trouble. He also came back to apologize, when her Mom died and right before the final battle. He saved her life several times. When he turned human for a day, they got back together, but had to reset time. He is the only one who remembers the day that never was.
