That's true although I love Spuffy I also love Spike and Dru's relationship. They just worked plus Dru was an awesome character.

I don't know anybody else who just didn't like Riley. He was whiney and insecure. I couldn't be happier that he went away and got married. Buffy and Riley were never going to work. Spike & Buffy will ALWAYS be one of my favourite couples.

Definately not Riley, its's a tough decision between Angel and Spike because it's hard to compare the two relationships because they were different types of relationships. I'm constantly changing my mind about which was better but i like both relationships equally at this point

plus Spike's funny, he got a soul because it was the right thing to do...when he was evil! And he doesn't like Riley or Angel. Nuff said.

Symbolism in 'Innocence'

Did anyone else get a vague Eve/Pandora's Box -ish vibe from the episode 'Innocence"? Buffy gives into her lusty teen temptations, has sex with Angel, who then loses his soul, and following the loss of her own innocence, unleashes this force of evil unto the world. It seems like she's punished for being with Angel like that, and is responsible, at least indirectly, for all of (evil) Angel's actions. But I also know Joss is a feminist and Buffy is totally about empowering women and not shaming them for their sexuality, and that Angel turning is important to the story arc and stuff. What do you think?

I didn't get that vibe at all. For me the message (if any) would have been that Angel and Buffy will never work, this is true. They are always going through some mega drama, it just makes the stories more interesting. I have seen the special features in my DVD sets and I know there is a message, and that would be that women and girls do not have to be Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice (heaven knows I'm NOT) ...that we are capable of much more than our society, as well as many others, dictate. We should always push the envelope and never stop trying.
